Legal notice

Owner. FARO is in its validation phase (beta): the service is free and there is no commercial activity — no advertising, no affiliate links, no payments or subscriptions. Responsible for the project and for data processing: FARO’s founder, whom you can contact directly and effectively at hola@getfaro.org (the contact channel for the purposes of the rules on information society services and on data protection). The owner’s full registration details will be published on this page before any commercial activity begins.

Intellectual property. FARO’s software, design and brand belong to the Platform. The content of analysts and operators belongs to its authors, who grant FARO a license to display it immutably for transparency and audit purposes for as long as they keep their account. The license ends when they exercise erasure, which deletes the entire track record (see the terms for analysts).

Governing law and jurisdiction: clause 10 of the Terms of use.

Terms of use

1. What FARO is. FARO is a technology platform that hosts and displays general investment recommendations produced by identified third parties (verified analysts and automated emitters under the responsibility of a verified human operator). FARO does not produce its own recommendations and does not provide personalized financial advice, portfolio management, or reception/transmission of orders. No information on the Platform constitutes an offer to buy or sell financial instruments.

2. Responsibility for third-party content. Signals and analysis belong to their authors, who are identified in each publication together with its date, time and conflict-of-interest disclosure. FARO automatically applies public rules on immutability, closing and metrics (see Methodology) and has reporting and moderation mechanisms, but does not guarantee the accuracy or the outcome of the recommendations it hosts.

3. Risk. Investing in financial instruments carries a risk of loss, including the total loss of capital. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Users are solely responsible for their investment decisions.

4. Your account. You must be over 18 years of age and provide truthful information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. One account per person.

5. Use of the Platform. Users undertake not to make fraudulent use of the service, not to try to circumvent the immutability or metrics rules, and not to redistribute the content on a mass scale without authorization.

6. The AI assistant. It offers general explanations and may contain errors. It is prohibited from recommending trades, predicting prices or choosing analysts for you; if you believe it has done so, report it. Its answers are not advice.

7. Simulations. Simulations use historical data from closed signals, do not include fees or exchange-rate effects, and are illustrative: they do not represent real achievable returns.

8. Liability. FARO is liable, in accordance with the law, for damage caused by willful misconduct or negligence in providing the service. FARO is not liable for users’ investment decisions or for the accuracy of market data supplied by third parties, without prejudice to consumers’ non-waivable rights.

9. Free service and changes. Access to FARO is currently free: there are no payments, subscriptions or fees, neither for users nor for analysts. If paid features were introduced in the future, they will always be optional, their price and conditions will be stated clearly and in advance, and no paid feature will condition access to your already published track record or its permanence. FARO may modify these terms for legal, technical or service reasons; substantial changes will be communicated with reasonable notice through the contact details provided, and if you do not accept them you may stop using the service and exercise your right to erasure.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction. These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction under the applicable rules (in the case of consumers, those of their own place of residence).
