Analysts: check the track record before following anyone

FARO’s directory of verified analysts, with their complete track record for as long as they keep their account. Ordered by average return per trade; it is not a ranking — to compare analysts, the app’s ranking groups them by division and orders them by risk-adjusted gain, with the same rule for those who publish in deferred mode, whose live signals do not count until they close. Metrics calculated objectively — stop hit = loss; not closed when the time limit for its asset class (60–180 days) runs out = close at market.
What a FARO profile guarantees

Verified identity. Nobody publishes without proving their real identity to FARO, even if they use an alias in public.

A track record with no selective deletion. Signals cannot be edited or deleted from the app once 5 minutes have passed. Losses stay in the track record: a signal cannot be deleted while keeping the others. If the analyst exercises erasure, the entire track record disappears, never just a part.

Results decided by the market. The analyst never enters a price by hand: closes are executed against market data, also when they are the one who decides to close early.

Metrics with the sample always visible. The win rate comes with its sample size and its confidence interval, and it is marked “provisional” while there are fewer than 20 closed signals.

The divisions

They are derived live from the real track record. When the criteria stop being met the tier goes down; when they are met again, it goes up.

Elite80+ published signals · 18+ months of track record · mark-to-market R >0 over 12 and 24 months, also without their best signal
Featured40+ published signals · 6+ months of track record · mark-to-market R >0 (12m), also without their best signal
Verified20+ published signals · 3+ months of track record · no return requirement
Newbuilding a track record · metrics from signal 1

“Verified” certifies transparency, not quality. It counts published signals and time on record —20 or more signals and 3 or more months of track record—, with no return requirement: by design. Only the promoted tiers —Featured and Elite— add performance conditions, measured in cumulative mark-to-market R: the result in units of risk, counting closed signals and open ones at the last price (for those who publish in deferred mode, each of their deferred signals that has already been entered counts as −1R until it closes —one still waiting for its entry, 0—: its result in real time would reveal its entry and its stop). Featured requires a positive R over the last 12 months also excluding their best signal (a single win cannot sustain a tier); Elite also requires it over 24 months. It is measured this way and not as a summed percentage because the same result achieved risking a lot is not worth the same as risking little, and because counting only what is closed would allow promotion without closing the losers. Anyone with no stop recorded in their track record cannot be promoted: the condition cannot be evaluated and a stop is not made up after the fact. The win rate (% of winning signals) is published as descriptive data, but since methodology v3 it is not a tier criterion.
